The Darker Than Black Blu-Ray Box will have all 25 episodes of the TV Series and 1 unaired episode spread out over 5 discs. It will have a box, a “digijacket”, and a 40 page booklet. It will also include a 5.1 channel soundtrack collection by Yoko Kanno, including some material never released on CD before. The Blu-ray is schedule for release in Japan on September 30.

K-On side story is being produced, and it will be included on Volume 7 of the Blu-ray and DVD that will go on sale in Japan on January 20, 2010.

The upcoming Blu-ray Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ Part 1 will include a Blu-ray original CG animation called Gundam FRAG. Part One which will include Episodes 1 - 17, will also include an extra episode entitled Prelude ZZ, and it is schedule to street in Japan on September 25, 2009. Part two is scheduled for November 25, 2009 with Episodes 28 - 47.

Official Gundam 00 website announced that a special edition of Gundam 00 will become available on Blu-ray, DVD, and UMD on October 27 2009 in Japan. The special edition is pretty much the same as the Gundam Seed Special Editions - retelling of the story that spans in 3 volumes with new animation and a running time of 90 minutes.
Second volume is scheduled will be release on December 12, 2009, and the final volume will street on February 23, 2010. Both Blu-ray and DVD will include audio commentaries and booklets, but the UMD version will only include the main feature.

Canaan Blu-ray Volume 1 to street on October 21, 2009 in Japan. The first volume will have an approximate running time of 50 minutes (2 episodes), and will include a 5.1 channel for its audio. The BD is house in a special box that will hold future volumes (total of 6 volumes).

Taisho Baseball Girls (Taishou Yakyuu Musume) is coming to Blu-Ray & DVD. Volume 1 goes on sale
October 7, 2009 in Japan, and it will include 2 episodes. One will come out each month, there will be a total of 6 volumes. The series started its broadcast in Japan on July 2, 2009 on TBS.

Second season of the popular anime, Spice and Wolf, is coming to Blu-ray on October 7, 2009 in Japan. Volume 1 will include 3 episodes with a short animation considered as Episode 0. Specifications as follows: 1080p High-Definition / MPEG4-AVC/Linear PCM for audio.

Blu-ray version for the light novel turned anime, Bakemonogatari, has been announced. The special edition will include a CD with the opening theme song. The Blu-ray will be release simultaneously with standard DVD version on September 30, 2009 in Japan.
When Seagulls Cry (Umineko no Naku Koro ni) Volume 1 in Blu-ray to be release on October 23, 2009 in Japan. The disc will be single layer, 16×9 Anamorphic Widescreen with Japanese Linear 2.0 channel audio.
