Starchild announced that the Blue Seed series is coming to Blu-ray on July 7, 2010 in Japan. The limited box set will include 6 discs with all of the series episodes and OVAs (3 episodes). Promotional video, TV commercial, opening and closing theme video, Omake Theather Special, and Omake Theather 1 - 13, and a 36-page booklet will be included. In addition, 2 CD Soundtracks will be part of the box set. Disc specification as follows, 1080i HD - 4:3 Aspect Ratio with Dolby Digital and Stereo Sound.

First of the planned 6 volumes of the new Armored Troopers Votoms: Gen’ei-hen OVA (Armored Trooper Votoms: Phantom Shadow Chapter ) is coming to DVD and Blu-ray on March 26, 2010. Specification as follows: Approximately 24 minutes (1 episode), 1080p, and Dolby TrueHD 5.1. In conjuction, Bandai Visual is releasing all of Votoms (TV Series and previous OVAs) on DVD in a series of 3 box sets.

According to Bandai Entertainment panel at NYAF, Eureka Seven: Good Night, Sleep Tight, Youg Lovers will be release on DVD and Blu-ray on January 26, 2010. No specifications were given, but the Blu-ray will be at $39.98.

Bandai Visual Japan just announced that a completely new AIKa OVA series will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD on August 25, 2009. This time around, Aika is a mature 19 years old, and goes undercover in a different mission school to prove how mature she has become. There will be a total of 3 volumes, each with a planned running time of 30 minutes. (more…)
